By Les Henson
God is love
yet love is often squashed and distorted.
As it is pressed and squeezed
through the wringer of life.
Love defaced is not love at all
it is a caricature of beauty long forgotten.
An ugly distortion of love
as it is intended to be.
Love cannot be attained
like a cheap toy at the fairground.
It costs everything and demands all
for love and sacrifice are one.
